Caleb De’Shawn Hooten affectionately called: “Youngin'' was born on December 12, 2002 in Macon, Georgia to proud parents Willie Hooten and Tetse Hooten. He was reared in Fort Valley, Georgia, but he resided in Warner Robins, Georgia.
He attended Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Georgia and Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama. His favorite activities included spending quality time with his daughter, Kaelyn and playing basketball. His interests and hobbies were: songwriting and rapping.
Caleb is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Hooten and paternal grandmother, Annie Mae Hooten and maternal great-grandmother, Annie Willie Jones.
Caleb De’Shawn Hooten departed this life on October 10, 2023, in Fort Valley, Georgia. Caleb leaves to cherish his loving memories to his devoted parents: Willie Hooten (Chemika) and Tetse Hooten as well all other family members with memories that will forever live on in their hearts. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his grandparents, Pearl White (Kennith) and Henry Cosby who loved him dearly. Additionally, he is survived by his daughter, Kaelyn Robbins; sister, Jasmine Cooper (Kyle); brothers: Jaquavius Hooten and Darrin Adams; bonus sisters: DeMya Collier and Deambria Butler (JaCorey); bonus brother, DeCarius Collier; aunts: Andrea Cosby (Vincent), Annie Slater (Cory), Mary Ann Hooten and Mary Edith Battle; uncles: Issac Cosby (Denis), Henry Cosby, Jr., Michael Cosby, Robert Hooten (Sherron), Charlie Hooten (Miranda); nieces: KeMarii, KeMyiah, Emeri, Easton; nephews: Messiah, Legend and Darrin; close cousins: Shalandra (Angelo), De’Jon, De’Kiyah, JaQwan, Azoria, Akaria, Emmanuel and Khalil. He also leaves his friends to cherish precious memories of the fun activities they shared together such as his rapping, playing and watching basketball games. Rest in peace, Caleb. You will remain forever in our hearts because “Legends” never die.
