Charles Thomas Jones

Charles T. Jones went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2025 at home with his family.

On July 23, 1957 Charles was born to the union of William and Eva Jones in Akron, Ohio.

In March of 1975 Charles joined the United States Marine Corp. He attended Akron University for Business Administration. As well as Tesst College of Technology for electronics. He worked for Ricoh USA over 20 years and retired in 2018.

On May 25, 1985 Charles and Roxanna were united in marriage. He served as a Deacon in the church for many years. He was ordained as a minister December 31, 2023. He loved studying the Bible with his church family at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his Wednesday morning Bible Study group. Charles loved being outdoors on his tractor and Bobcat. He would say “The Lord speaks the loudest to me when I’m in nature with him. “ He was selfless with his time and many talents. He enjoyed being of service to anymore that needed him.

He is preceded in death by his father William E. Jones Sr; brothers William E. Jones Jr. and Paul Jones Sr.; son Charles Jones Jr and grandson Solomon D. Jones.

He leaves to forever cherish many memories his loving wife of 40 years, Roxanna Jones; Loving mother, Eva Jones; Daughters: Angel and Latoria; Sons: William, Donte and Joseph; Grandchildren: Donovan, Ryan, Jesse, McKenzie, Taylor and Josiah; Sisters: Patricia Dossie, Elizabeth (Rea) Jones and Alice Williams; Brothers: Sidney Jones and Eric (Esther) Jones; Brothers and Sister-in-laws: Alfred (Ludy)Bowen, Robert (Hettie) Bowen, Cherlynn (Paul) Allen, Kasandra (Russell) Burden, Tivia Bowen, Josie (Anthony) Bowen and Alice King. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
