Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Charles Walker on December 7, 2024. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends.

Charles Walker was born in Marshallville, Georgia on July 15th, 1941 to the parentage of James and Christine Walker, Sr. 

 Charles graduated from D.F. Douglas High School in 1958. Following graduation, he enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served 12 years. Upon returning to Georgia, he started his own painting business, Walker’s Painting. 

 On December 31, 1985, Charles was joined with Rosie Robinson in Holy Matrimony. Charles enjoyed fishing, painting, and spending time with his family and friends. 

 He entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2024 while a patient at Atrium Health Hospital. He is predeceased by his father, James Walker, Sr., his mother, Christine Walker; siblings: Laverne Ransom and Larry Walker. 

 He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Rosie Walker; daughter, Kendra Walker; three sons: Bryant Walker, Tyrone Walker, and Alex Felton; God daughter, Vichelle Stubbs; sister, Jamesetta Banks; two brothers: James Walker, Jr and Jerry Walker; sister-in-law, Rita Walker; brother-in-law, Charles Banks; daughter-in-law, Johntasha Kaigler; 14 grandchildren: Kenzarien, Key’marian, Kingston, Amani, Karleigh, Kaleigh, Alexiuna, Amarrion, Altavious, Andrew, Aden, Azuri, Xyla, and Legend and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
