Clara Flowers Thomas

Clara Flowers Thomas was born in Fort Valley on April 17, 1934 to the late Anne H. Flowers and Henry (Bro) Amos. At the age of two, her mother died and she was raised by her beloved grandmother, Mrs. Estella Flowers.

Clara met and later married the love of her life, Charles L. Thomas on January 9, 1971.

She was a devoted wife, Mother, Auntie, Grandma, Granny and Grammy. She was also an adopted mother to Mrs. Juanita Bryant, Mr. Michael Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Evelyn Smith, Mr. Anthony Brown, and Mr. Patrick Ross.

Clara joined Central Union Baptist Church of Fort Valley, Georgia in 1952. She became a Golden Member in 2002 after 50 years of service especially as a loyal devoted servant with the Hospitality Ministry, Breakfast Club and Soup Kitchen Ministries.
