Frank "Mickey" Jerome Howard

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest condolence the passing of Frank "Mickey" Jerome Howard.  

Frank Jerome Howard, Jr. affectionately known as “Mickey,” was born May 2, 1957 in Fort Valley, Peach County, Georgia to the parentage of Frank Jerome Howard, Sr. and Inez Zanders Howard. Frank attended the public schools in Fort Valley, Georgia.

 After graduation, Mickey joined the United States Army on January 28, 1975, where he served for three years. After being honorably discharged from the United States Army, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in March, 1978, where he served until he was honorably discharged on April 2, 1982. After serving his country, he was a truck driver for Timberlake Groceries out of Macon, Georgia. He worked at Canadine Environmental for several years. He then moved to Jackson, Michigan where he transferred and continued to work for Canadine Environmental.

In his past time, he loved to fish and travel. He adored his grandchildren and took pleasure in spending time with his family for family gatherings where he loved to eat. Chocolate cake was his favorite. He was a devoted member at the Church of God in Macon, Georgia. He knew the Bible from cover to cover.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father. On Sunday, September 11, 2022, God said, “Well done my child, well done” and called him home.
