Kelli L. Rucker

Kelli L. Rucker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and minister, entered eternal rest surrounded by love and faith.

Born to the late Rosemary Fairley and Charles Fairley of Moss Point, Mississippi, Kelli’s life was one of purpose, passion, and service.

Kelli was united in marriage to Alvin Rucker in September of 1994. Their union was blessed with one son, Dylan Charles Rucker.

She was a proud graduate of Moss Point High School and went on to attend the prestigious Spelman College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. Further pursuing her education, she received a master’s degree in human resources from Villanova University.

Kelli’s professional career was marked by excellence and dedication. She served in key roles at Georgia-Pacific and as the Human Resources Director for the City of Moss Point, where she worked faithfully until her health no longer allowed.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kelli lived a life deeply rooted in faith. She was an ordained minister and a devoted member of House of Prayer Church of God in Christ. Alongside her husband, she co-founded One Accord Family Ministries in Moss Point, where for over ten years they faithfully pastored and poured into the spiritual lives of many.

Kelli also found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life—traveling, spending time with family, and enjoying “date nights” with her husband.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 31 years, Alvin Rucker; her loving son, Dylan Charles Rucker (Jordan); her precious granddaughter, Jahzara; brother, Joseph Fairley, her goddaughter, Dr. Hope Harness French; a host of aunts, uncles, extended relatives, spiritual children, and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Kelli L. Rucker will be remembered as a woman of grace, faith, and unwavering love. Her legacy of service, leadership, and family devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
