Lillie Mae Girdner

It is will deep sympathy that Edwards Small Mortuary announces the passing of Lillie Mae Girdner. May we find comfort in the treasured memories of those no longer with us.

Lillie Mae Girdner was born on August 9, 1933 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Willie Tom, Sr. and Leila Flowers.

Lillie was united in matrimony to Henry Girdner, Sr. on February 14, 1958. To this union, seven of ten children were born.

Lillie was educated in the Macon County schools. She was employed at Lane Packing Company, Peach County, Peach County Schools and as a homemaker.

Lillie loved the Lord and she was always loving, encouraging, and supportive to all that she knew. She had kind words for everyone and always saw the bright side of any situation.

She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church and actively served as an Usher until her health failed. She also served as Assistant Mother of the Church. Lillie possessed strong faith and trust in God and it never wavered until her heavenly father called her home.
