Marilyn Jones was born in Marshallville, Georgia, to the late Willie and Sarah Jones. She peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on October 22, 2025, in Macon, Georgia.

Marilyn was educated in the public schools of Macon County and was a proud graduate of D. F. Douglas High School. She dedicated many years of service to the Bibb Company, where she was a valued and faithful employee until her retirement.

Marilyn was known for her joyful spirit and love for life. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. Her warm smile and kind heart touched all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Sarah Jones; sisters, Sarah Francis Walker, Carla Jones; and brothers, Sammie Germany, Johnny Germany, and Willie Germany.

Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughter, Jovanne Dean (Steven); sister, Annie Felton of Columbus, GA; devoted son,Kevius Jones; sisters, Carolyn Rice (John) of Marshallville, GA, and Shirley Taylor of Warner Robins, GA; brother, Willie Germany of Marshallville, GA; grandchildren, Shakya Dean and Khadijah Jones, both of Warner Robins, GA; great-grandchildren, Ky’zere Frederick, Kaison Jones, Kylon Brown, and Kylee Brown, all of Warner Robins, GA; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
