Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Randolph Williams on December 8, 2024.  Our sincere condolences to the family and friends. 

On Sunday, December 8, 2024 the Lord dispatched an angel to the bedside of Randolph Williams who had completed his work here on earth. He closed his eyes and quietly slipped away. The challenges of this life will no longer rest on his shoulders. 

 Mr. Randolph Williams, Sr. was born on January 25, 1958 in Fort Valley, Georgia to the late Mr. Edward and Mrs. Nettie Mae Williams. He attended Peach County Public Schools. As a young man Randolph decided to join his father and brothers in the family contractor business. Randolph was known for his unwavering generosity and humble spirit. Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting him was left with an everlasting impression of him. In addition to his parents, four brothers preceded him in death: Edward Williams, Jr., Kenneth Williams and Peter Williams and one sister, Valerie Williams Strong.

 

Randolph is survived by his very devoted wife of 43 years, Mary Rumph Williams of Fort Valley, Georgia; six children: Sarita Williams (Alvin) McElroy, Randolph Reshard (Akevia) Williams, Randolph Edward Williams, Lushundra (Antrun) Curtis, Terrell Stevens, and Daryl Hanby; granddkids: Makimba Williams, Sy’Kiah Sanders, Ra’niya Williams, Zoey Williams, Elijah Sanders, Shayla Stevens, Namiyah Stevens, and Aniyah Stevens; devoted sisters, Marilyn Williams Smith , Peggy Brown (Walter) Shields and Valerie (Tommy) Cypress; devoted brothers: Leon (Stephanie) Banks and Edward Banks; a very devoted cousin/brother, Anthony (Sharon) Howell; three aunts: Thelma Young, Mary Howell, and Salley Crenshaw; devoted nephews: Edward Williams Jr. and Sterling Williams; a caring great nephew, Marcus (Margo) Smith; sisters-in-law: Vera Jackson, Katherine Ezell, Celestine Rumph, Elaine Rumph, Stella Tucker, LouAnn Williams; brothers-in-law: Tommy Rumph, James Rumph, Marvin Rumph, Joseph (Penny) Rumph, and Bobbie (Shirley) Rumph, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
