Robert "Chuck" Stern, Sr.

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Robert Stern, Sr. on May 13, 2024. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends.

Robert Lee Stern, Sr. was born on September 18,1962 in Fort Valley, Georgia to his parents, Floyd Stern and Maggie L. Walton. Robert attended the public schools in Peach County, Georgia.

While attending Peach County High, Robert demonstrated his commitment to personal growth and learning by doing his best to become a successful student.

After leaving Peach County High and preparing to enter the workforce, he decided to use the skills he learned in Construction to become self-employed.

During his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, singing, and dancing. However, he loved to skate and he was a “Football Fanatic!”

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Walton, father, Floyd Stern, sisters: Della Mae Stern and Gerdina Stern.

Robert is survived by his four daughters: Shameka Talton, Victoria Stern, Gabby Williams and Michelle Montfort and two sons: Robert Stern, Jr. and Antonio Stern; his sister, Linda Stern, his precious grandchildren: Shandreka, Uzzhia, La’taysha, Talasha, Mya, Tyrone, Emmanuel, Tradavion, Makaya, Kaleb, Kenmarian, Antonio, Jr., A’paris, A’london, Ja’ryan, A’lani, Serenity, Amoriayah, Lynette and Nai’omi; his favorite aunt, Ilene Walton and favorite nephew and Dennis Stern. Additional family members include a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, and many sorrowing friends.
