Rosetta Burnice Smith

Our lives have been blessed by the life of Rosetta Bernice Rumph Smith. Our blessing began with her birth on July 13, 1944 in Fort Valley, GA to the late George Rumph, Sr. and Mary Lewis Rumph who preceded her in death.    

She attended the public schools of Peach County. She was united in holy matrimony to the late Will Smith in 1966. To this union 3 children were born. One preceded in death, Ms. Barbara Smith.

On Tuesday March 26,2024 her heavenly father said that she was getting weary and called her home to get her rest.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories and to celebrate her homegoing a devoted and caring daughter who stood and cared for her until the end of her journey, Ms. Vera Smith Buckner of Fort Valley, GA; son, Mr. Ronnie Smith and (Tamera) of Warner Robins, GA; two granddaughters, Jessica and Hannah Smith of Macon, GA; one brother, George Rumph (Gwendolyn), and one sister Yvonne Jones Rocmore. Jerry Rumph, Sr., Henry Rumph and sister Annie Stubbs all preceded her in death. One brother-in-law, Mr. Charlie Stubbs; devoted cousins, Lorraine Walton, Eugene Fluellen, Brenda Oates Gibson of Fort Valley; Constance Rutledge of Deca-tur, GA; Virginia Culbreath, of Snellville, GA. Also cherishing her memory area a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear friends.
