Terrance "Ted" Lamont Trammell

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Terrance Trammell on March 26, 2025. Our sincere Condolences to the family and friends.

Terrance Lamont Trammell was born on November 5th, 1976 in Peach County Georgia.

He entered his eternal home on March 26, 2025. He was the beloved son of Mrs. Delois Canady Trammell and the late Mr. Calvin Lee Trammell.

As he was affectionately known, Ted was the life of the party and was welcoming to everyone he met. His journey on earth was marked by love, compassion, and faith in God. His sudden passing left a void in the hearts of his wife, children, family, and countless friends.

When he wasn’t driving trucks, as we all know he loved to do, Ted spent time with his family, cooking, singing, dancing, and enjoying life. The fall was his favorite time of year as he had the pleasure of watching his Bucks every Sunday.

Ted is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Lee Trammell, and stepson, Ken’Darius McKenzie. He is survived by his loving wife, Shatira Trammell; his sons: Jaquavious Trammell Sr. and Quinterious Trammell, step-children Destynee McKenzie, Jaquez McKenzie, Sh’Darius (Morgan McKenzie), and Martavious McKenzie; five grandchildren: Jaquavious Trammell Jr, Jaxson Trammell, Zimira Cambell, Josiah Mitchell, Ivy McKenzie and Honor McKenzie. He also leaves behind his mother, Delois Canady Trammell; a devoted aunt, Brendalyn Smith; sister Kwajaline Trammell; brothers: Neico Newsome, Taurus Newsome, and Brian (Brandy) Trammell, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Before finding his love for big rigs, Ted embarked on a mission to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp. and received an honorable discharge.

Though he is absent with us in the flesh, Ted’s spirit will forever live on in each of us. The family would like to express their appreciation for the compassion, love, and support they have received during this difficult time.
