Willie Frank Stephens

Edwards Small Mortuary announces with our deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Willie Stephens on November 15, 2024.  Our sincere condolences to the family and friends. 

Willie Frank Stephens was born in Crawford County, Georgia on July 5th, 1947, to the parentage of Paul and Annie Willie Stephens. Mr. Paul proceeded him in death, and he was blessed with a Bonus Dad, Mr. Fate Williams.

 He received his education from Crawford County Comprehensive High School. Upon graduation he enlisted into the United States Air Force, where he received an honorable discharge after 14 years of service.

 He was united in Holy Matrimony to Irene Williams and to this union two children were born. A son Christopher Anthony Stephens and a daughter Angela Stephens.

 Upon returning to Georgia, he went on to work in the food service industry at Robins Air Force Base.

 On October 9th, 1987, Willie joined Alice Smith in Holy Matrimony.

 Willie enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

 He entered into eternal rest on November 15th, 2024, at Pine Pointe Hospice.

 He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife of 37 years, Alice Stephens; two sons: Christopher Stephens (Tammy) and Gary Stephens; three daughters: Angela Pirtle (Booker), Lisa Baker (Tracy), and Maxine Williams; a devoted sister, Daisy Howard; 14 grandchildren, 13 great grands and a host of nieces, nephews and friends
